Willow Spring (Joe's Trail)

This trail is one of the most scenic trail we have done with this group.

Finally made the turn to end the "loop" and head home!

South Mountain

This hike was the first for this group.  The plan was to tackle the Mormon and National Loop.  However, we got a bit "sidetracked" at the Hidden Valley loop.  Jiggs led the hikers along some fine "rock climbing" trails that ended up at a precipice that was simple not possible to conquer.  We ended up having to back track and eventually Jiggs led the group up a wash that led us back to the loop trail.  By this time the groupd all voted to head back to the trailhead.  This hike provided us with an opportunity to do some rock climbing.  Jiggs ended up handing out "Certificates of Achievement" to all involved for completing the "Rock Climbing 101" test.

Phon 'D' Sutton

There were 12 hikers today for this hike led by Kathy Axton.  We visited what may have been an abandoned mine, who knows.  We did see some horses and also met up with a loner hiker who was walking around with his dogs and his "Ass" (donkey)....
